Essentials – Medicine

In ANY kind of travel, you need some essential things to help you keep going until you can get to any sort of pharmacist. You could be on a non stop bus for 12 hours, in a middle of a village with the nearest towns miles away of just need something before to help settle your stomach.

Therefore, I feel the following is important even if it’s just a packet to help get you through*:

  1. <a href=”http://<a target=”_blank” href=”https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006TW0YZY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B006TW0YZY&linkCode=as2&tag=flawedwandere-21&linkId=584b6b5faae05fb0ad47cb93074b823d”>Panadol Extra Advance Paracetamol Caffeine Pain Relief, 14 Tablets</a>""Paracetamol/Ibuprofen – of course you need pain killers to help with a fever or even a hangover.
  2. Diarrhea tables like Imodium – Let’s be honest, this could happen at any point and you need it if you are in a middle of a trek or on a long arse bus journey. Trust me – I’ve been in these situations before.
  3. Rehydration sachets/Dioralyte – you will need this if you are pooping your insides out and your body needs to rehydrate with electrolytes EVEN if it’s coming back out again. Your body will still absorb some liquids which helps you have that little bit of energy to keep going (on that hike).
  4. Water purification tablets – need I say more?
  5. Allergy tablets / Benadryl – if you get bitten by mosquitos and have an allergic reaction or have hayfever; these help.
  6. Hand sanitiser – I don’t need to explain this but it’s helpful if you have cuts on your body (from hiking, cooking etc) and you don’t have access to filtered body then this is essential to have.
  7. For the ladies – tampons / organic tampons; you might be in a remote place or a place that doesn’t sell tampons so just bring a pack yourself as we know how messy it can get without these essentials.

*hey all, as having a blog costs me money (like domain costs, wordpress costs etc), the only way I can make some money back to cover these costs would be affiliate links for stuff I highly recommend (and I use) for you to purchase. I appreciate all the love and support. Thanks for reading 🙂
